A mailing list is a list of email addresses that get the same email message simultaneously. When you send a message to the mailing list address, it will be re-sent to all the addresses on that mailing list automatically, but none of the receivers will know who the rest of the recipients are. In the general case, one has to join a list, but occasionally email addresses are included manually without their owners’ permission. Depending on the particular list administration software, you may also be able to greenlight new mailing list subscribers, so users will not be able to sign up for a mailing list unless you approve their request. The mailing list feature is very useful if you would like to send regular newsletters or some other sort of periodic notifications to customers, as you will have to send out just a single e-mail message and all of the mailing list subscribers will receive it instantly. This way, you won’t have to type in multiple mailboxes manually.

Creating a brand new list is really easy – you’ll just have to indicate an admin email and pass and the mailbox from which your email messages will be sent to the subscribers, and then to save them. Using the user-friendly Email Manager tool, you can also delete existing mailing lists in case you don’t need them any longer. Using straightforward commands, you will be able to see a list of all the subscribers for a particular mailing list, to approve new subscription requests, to delete subscribers, and so on.
